A Perfect Day

What makes a perfect day?

I can think of a handful of perfect days in my life.

Days that are filled with friends and fun and family.

Some are GRAND days filled with adventure,

Seeing things you’ve never seen before—

Or experiencing things you’ve never experienced before.

At least not in that way.

And others are sleepier kinds of days,

But the people you are with make them special.

And still others are spent in solitude

But the decadent kind, where you get to enjoy all the things you choose.

I don’t know how many of these perfect days we will get,

But…

Today was a perfect day.  From start to finish, perfect.
